After our trip to Croatia, we flew to Athens and then boarded a ferry to Hydra. This beautiful harbor town is populated with people, donkeys, cats ... but no motorized vehicles.OK, except for the volunteer fire brigade. And the much needed garbage truck. So the streets are narrow. But these guys know how to find your destination. If you've brought too much luggage to carry ......they've got you covered.Or, your latest Amazon shipment just arrived. This poor guy, however, is hand carrying bags of stone and concrete. Our first stop was Hotel Mistral.Where Jenni and Theo prepared a hearty and delicious breakfast each morning. The variety of boats and ships coming in and out of the harbor was fascinating.Large cruise vessels.Personal yachts. This yacht was painted with a design by renowned sculptor Jeff Koons. There are, of course, varieties of fishing boats. And nets. And fisherman of various skill level. Some boats are floating sculptures.
